That the fresh water, white sturgeon is the largest fresh water fish in the world. One of the largest sturgeon ever caught and recorded in Canada was in British Columbia. It weighted over 1,000 LBS and measured over 11 feet. It took 4 guys and over 6 hours to land this monster! Fishing Tip Walleyes will usually hang around covered areas such as weeds, rocks and timber falls looking for food to come out. Since they are a very predatory fish, walleye will wait and cicle the outer area and wait for food. Walleye will stay close to these structures as long as they're not forced to vacate. Look for these types of structures and approach with caution. Good Luck!
